Please be clear that PTC is Paid-to-Click and PPC is Pay-per-Click. Both of them are advertising platform with same nature but different implementation. In PTC, the advertiser has ready clickers who registered as a member of specific PTC site, but in PPC, the advertiser paid for clicking from anonymous clicker which has been channeled through keyword bidding.

PTC last time was invented to be the same as PPC but unfortunately turning to be unprofitable to the advertiser (directly) but profitable to the clickers. But PPC nowadays become more favorable in advertising and offers more and more profit to both advertiser and blog owner like me. I'm still here. Still earning from ptc as well, but not that much. Thanks to all that still remembering me and sending PMs through various PTC forum and sorry for not replying. I'm no more active in those PTC forum. Some said that I'm tired of PTC and quitting from 'the internet marketing'.. hell NO! Still enjoy digging money from the internet from local and international market. Some of my activities to prove that I'm still alive;

Is there any relation of those two? Last time, ptc was so viral. Everybody joined ptc and hoping to gain much money from it. The virality wakes a lot of people to start building their own PTC site. I still remember Buxmania (dead already), the owner was a young ambitious boy open up a PTC site with a crap script. He never ask me about that, about the possibility of having hacked or attacked rather than just trying to tune everything by himself. I joined that ptc and got several payments, but then he can't afford to run it anymore. But still, he tried to survive (maybe trying to get more money before shutting down) and at last the site down for good. I had an opportunity to have a nice conversation with his girlfriend few month ago and now he is still trying to make some money from the internet through video marketing and blogging as well. Wish him all the best.

Moral of the story is, not all ptc owners are serious in doing this kind of business. The business model of PTC is PPC advertising program, but most of the owners do not understand the system/model rather than just building ptc sites for their own profit. Keep the site run for sometime, pay some members and than make more money before shutting down the site, running with all money. This is the effect of the virality of ptc and the opportunity of making 'instant' money from it. Be careful in selecting PTC and wish all of you all the best!
